For our client, an important academic institution, we are looking for a Lab Technician for a long-term position

This unique opening will give you the opportunity to work in a world-class research environment and assist scientists on their groudbreaking work.

**Descriptif des tâches**:

- Maintain cultures of lab organisms
- Manage long-term storage and catalogue of lab organisms
- Contribute to the development of culturing and imaging conditions as well as molecular tools to work with non-conventional model organisms
- Assist scientists with molecular biology and fluorescence microscopy

**Nous recherchons**:

- Master's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree accepted if combined with relevent experience
- Experience in a lab setting with knowledge in troublshooting protocols
- Fluency in English (C1 min.)
- Knowledge of Python, an asset
- Flexible, curious, independant & collaborative personality
