Your MissionEnsure smooth and safe daily lab operations while providing technical support to researchers and students across molecular biology, cell culture, and microfluidics workflows.Main duties and responsibilitiesSupport of the management of the laboratoryOrdering lab supplies and consumablesKeeping and updating inventories of chemicals and biologicalsMaintenance of instrumentsPreparation of common solutions for the labKeeping a well-maintained lab with team membersSupervise good laboratory practices and biosafety rulesSupport researchers and students in their experimentsConventional molecular biology techniques (PCR, RT-PCR, Western)Cell cultureLibrary preparation for sequencingImmunofluorescence staining and flow cytometryMicrofluidics chip fabricationRunning experiments with different microfluidic set-upsWriting reports and communicating resultsParticipation in the planning of projects together with team membersParticipation in the development and validation of new protocols and techniquesYour ProfileDiploma of the lab technician school (CFC or ECL) or equivalent, or bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.Experience working with mouse models and/or microfluidic set-ups.Strong spoken and written competency in English and French.Highly organized and interactive personality.Detail-oriented, able to multitask and perform precise work, as well as record and report results with clarity and details.Proactive and motivated to learn and master new methods and techniques.Able to work independently and within a team.We offerExcellent working conditions in a multi-cultural and stimulating environment.Broad range of tasks and responsibilities.Competitive remuneration.
