THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel for a global financial services company based in Switzerland. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the legal team by drafting and negotiating contracts and offering strategic legal advice on various transactions. A strong background in M&A is essential for this role, with fluency in English required and proficiency in German highly preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support various aspects of transactions, including structuring, due diligence, and coordination of signing and closingAdvise on a range of areas, including stakeholder coordination, strategy, due diligence, and providing specific legal guidance on transaction-related issuesParticipate in or coordinate due diligence and integration activitiesCoordinate with external legal counsel on transaction documentation and due diligenceDraft, review, and negotiate agreements; collaborate with business units and regional legal counselProvide necessary support to the Head of Legal, M&A
YOUR PROFILE
Experience working in-house or at a law firm, practicing corporate law in an international settingKnowledge and experience managing matters in an international M&A environment, with expertise in international corporate and commercial lawProven track record of leadership and project management experienceFluent in English, both written and spokenExcellent drafting, communication skills, and strong attention to detailAbility to navigate nuanced and complex international structures
