Role Description:

The
Data Analyst
plays a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to generate actionable insights. This position involves transforming raw data into meaningful information that informs strategy, enhances operational efficiency, and drives business growth. The Data Analyst collaborates with multiple teams to ensure that data is accurate, accessible, and effectively utilized across the organization.

In this role, the Data Analyst gathers and cleans data from various sources, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Responsibilities include conducting statistical analysis, developing data models, and identifying trends, patterns, and correlations that provide valuable insights into business performance. The Data Analyst prepares reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaboration is a central component of the role. The Data Analyst works closely with business units, IT teams, and management to understand data requirements, support project goals, and optimize processes. By interpreting complex datasets and presenting clear recommendations, the Data Analyst enables informed decision-making and contributes to achieving strategic objectives.

The Data Analyst also supports the development and maintenance of data systems and tools, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and security. This includes assisting in the design of databases, data collection processes, and reporting frameworks. The role emphasizes problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to translate analytical findings into practical business solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting insights effectively.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of data governance, integrity, and security principles.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to using data to drive actionable business outcomes.
