Role Description:

The
Business Analyst
in the financial sector plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's decision-making, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives by transforming data and business requirements into actionable insights. This position involves analyzing complex financial data, identifying trends, and translating findings into recommendations that inform business strategy, risk management, and performance improvement. The Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business units, technology teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective implementation of financial solutions.

In this role, the Business Analyst supports the development, evaluation, and refinement of financial models, reporting tools, and operational processes. Responsibilities include conducting market and competitor analysis, interpreting financial statements, and identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and revenue growth. The Business Analyst assists in the preparation of reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The position requires close collaboration with teams across finance, risk, compliance, and technology to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into functional solutions. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Knowledge of financial principles, banking operations, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or financial software.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
