The
Digital Content Specialist
is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content to engage audiences, strengthen brand presence, and support strategic business objectives. This role combines creativity, analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of digital channels to deliver content that drives engagement, conversions, and overall online visibility. The Specialist will work closely with marketing, design, and communications teams to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities include planning, producing, and publishing digital content, including website copy, blog articles, newsletters, social media posts, and multimedia assets such as graphics, videos, and interactive materials. The Digital Content Specialist will optimize content for SEO, monitor performance metrics, and use analytics tools to refine strategies and improve engagement. The role involves maintaining editorial calendars, supporting campaigns, and collaborating on content strategies that align with broader marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and analytical, with the ability to translate insights into compelling digital content. They are highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and possess strong communication skills to convey brand messaging consistently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital content creation, copywriting, or content marketing.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or HubSpot.
- Experience with SEO, analytics, and performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Familiarity with social media management platforms and digital marketing channels.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar) are an advantage.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and improve content performance.
- Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced digital environment.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
