Specialist in Machinery and Technical Equipment Insurance

Description:
To further develop the insurance product for machinery and technical equipment for businesses, we are looking for a specialist with many years of experience and in-depth product knowledge.
The person will work independently within the agile SAFe framework, maintaining periodic exchanges with Mobiliar.
The goal is the structured optimization of the product and the relief of the existing team.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Further development of coverage concepts for stationary and mobile machinery insurance
- Drafting and reviewing policy wording (GTCI) and technical documentation
- Acting as an interface between product management, underwriting, and claims departments
- Market and risk assessment for ongoing product adjustments
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge in the area of stationary machinery insurance (external impacts, internal causes, loss of earnings, spoilage of goods)
- Expertise in mobile machinery insurance (fire, natural hazards, theft, business interruption, refrigeration goods, etc.)
- Experience in assembly insurance (assembly work, fire/natural hazards, transport, pre-storage, etc.)
- Ability to formulate legally precise and formally correct policy wording in German
- Ideally, knowledge of French and Italian for translations and quality assurance
- Practical experience working in an agile SAFe environment
Conditions:
- Workload: 100% until March 2026, then expected to be reduced to 50%
- Workplace: Bern (up to 50% remote possible)
