Commis de Cuisine (m/f/d) Appenzell | Permanent position | Start date: by agreement Your main responsibilities Receive daily food deliveries in compliance with internal guidelines, in coordination with the Chef de Partie Support your assigned station with the preparation and cooking of dishes Assist other kitchen stations when required Organise workflow to ensure smooth and efficient service operations Perform mise en place duties Handle food items responsibly and cost-consciously Use kitchen materials and utensils with care Work closely with the Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, and trainees Maintain cleanliness and follow safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) Your profile Completed culinary apprenticeship, with initial experience in high-end gastronomy an advantage Good knowledge of European cuisine Flexible with working hours Independent, hygienic, and precise working style Good spoken and written English; additional languages, especially German, are an advantage Professional and calm approach in fast-paced situations We offer Live and work in the beautiful Appenzell region, ideally located between Zurich and St. Gallen Be part of a prestigious new resort opening with international hotel brands Above-average remuneration 50% discount in all in-house restaurants Preferential rates for hotel stays within the Swiss hospitality network Employee benefits including a local staff card Modern team lounge with a variety of food options and relaxation areas Are you looking for a new challenge in a motivated and dynamic team?
