About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Chef de Rang / Waiter to join our high-end hotel team. You will ensure that every guest receives impeccable service in line with our luxury standards. The ideal candidate has prior experience in 4–5* hotels, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fine dining and hospitality.

Accommodation can be provided at a low cost of around CHF per month depending on your apartment choice including kitchens.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional table service, including setting up and clearing tables in accordance with hotel standards
  • Assist guests with menu choices, wine, and cheese recommendations
  • Execute orders efficiently and accurately, including à la carte and banquet service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene
  • Support and mentor junior staff or Commis de Rang as required
  • Ensure smooth coordination with kitchen and bar staff to provide a seamless guest experience
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Uphold all hotel policies, standards, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Rang / Waiter in 4–5* hotels or luxury restaurants
  • Native or fluent German; strong English skills
  • Professional knowledge of fine dining service, including wine and cheese (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, guest-oriented attitude, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
