Job Description

The Engineer Intern provides hands-on support to engineering teams in planning, designing, testing, and implementing projects across various engineering disciplines. This internship is designed for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.

The ideal candidate is curious, motivated, and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in engineering principles, problem-solving, and innovation. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, the intern will gain exposure to multiple aspects of engineering operations, including design, analysis, and project coordination.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in designing, analyzing, and testing components, systems, or processes.
  • Support project planning, technical documentation, and reporting tasks.
  • Conduct research, data collection, and analysis for ongoing engineering projects.
  • Use engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or Python) for modeling and simulations.
  • Participate in prototype development, testing, and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives.
  • Maintain organized records of technical data, designs, and project updates.
  • Observe and adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Take initiative to learn new engineering tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Attend team meetings and provide input on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Software, or related field).
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering software tools.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
