We are looking for you - a Robotics Engineer with a specialization in software development As a Robotics Engineer Intern at Bota Systems, you will play a crucial role in advancing our cutting-edge projects in force torque sensing and robotics, leveraging your expertise in robotics, machine learning, and perception: Robotics AI Training Platform )

Position: Robotics Engineer Intern (Software Development Focus) Location: Zurich Duration: 6 or 12 months, Start Date: Immediately

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement software solutions for robotic applications.
  • Implementation of state-of-the-art foundation models for manipulation, dataset collection on hardware, integration of physics-consistent and force aware simulation.
  • Contribute to the development of software architecture for robotic systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software components into robotic platforms.
  • Assist in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting software issues in robotic systems.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++.
  • Familiarity with robotics frameworks and libraries such as ROS2 (Robot Operating System).
  • Hands-on experience in working with machine learning models, including training and fine-tuning
  • Problem-solving skills and a passion for robotics and technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
