Remote Customer Onboarding for Hospitality/Events

Openevent is a startup building an all-in-one operating system for event venues and hospitality in general therefore also looking for someone with a bit of a background in this field. We offer our clients a software solution that helps them make their work easier - it combines everything that you as event manager need; calendar, inbox, bookings, tickets, staff and finances. And some AI to automate the boring stuff ;-)
Role:
Your mission is to make sure our clients (venues) are onboarded fast, love the product, and grow with us (by using us). You'll be the main contact for event managers and venue owners, guiding them through the platform, building strong relationships, and bringing their feedback back into the product.
What you'll do
Customer Onboarding & Success
• Run 1:1 onboarding calls and guide venues through the platform.
• Follow up with new users until they actively use Openevent.
• Create simple playbooks: checklists, email templates, short guides.
• Monitor activity and reach out when clients need help.
Additionally you will be working close with the team, and be the gateway between developers and users (no worries, no tech skills required). You will collect client feedback (bugs, feature requests, ideas) and communicate it to us, spot oopportunities and share your ideas.
RequirementsYou're a good fit if…
• You have experience in hospitality/events and/or in Customer Success / Account Management / Client Onboarding.
• You like talking to clients, are presentable and charismatic.
• You speak fluently English.
• You're organised, follow up reliably and keep things documented.
• You enjoy startup environments: taking ownership, fixing things, building processes from scratch.
Nice-to-have
• Experience in SaaS or hotel/event tech
• Comfortable recording quick Loom videos for clients
• 50% Remote Role starting ASAP. Possibility to go full-time later.
• You have *somewhat* flexible work hours (except during client meetings).
• A key role as our first non-tech hire with lots of responsibility.
• A chance to combine hospitality/event experience with SaaS and AI.
