Switzerland, Basel**Intern to Head of Global Technology Vendor Management**:

Support Head of Vendor Management with the following:

- ** Vendor scouting & portfolio**- Conduct research on available and suitable vendors; to assess their products, inquiry about their services and evaluate vendor viability as per IT organization requirements
- ** Vendor standards, performance and governance** - Establish standards by which to assess performance of approved IT vendors. Develop, enhance and maintain IT vendor governance and related IT vendor management process to ensure bespoke governance, processes and controls are taking place; such as vendor service delivery assessment, SLA measurement and related contractual clauses are effectively monitored.
- ** Vendor contracts** - Maintain IT contracts database and manage IT contracts lifecycle. Work with strategic sourcing and procurement with developing standard and best practices for statement of work (SOW’s), assist with negotiating contract terms, conditions, modification, incidentives and penalties while working with IT service owners to ensure that their requirements are met.
- ** Contract financials & budgeting** - Administer commercial and financial arrangements with vendors to include billing, invoicing, performance incentives and remedies, and internal chargebacks, where appropriate. Ensure with IT service owners and project managers

Key requirements:

- Advanced MS Powerpoint and MS Excel
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to speak with different seniority layers
- Ability to work independently and seek guidance as needed
