Global Head of Talent

The Head of Talent is a new role at Straumann Group acting as a thought leader, driving business growth delivering global talent management strategies tailored to where the business needs to develop and retain skills. The Global Head of Talent is a member of the Global HR Leadership Team and leads the full spectrum of talent and leadership strategies. The role reports to the Chief People Officer and is based at Straumann Group Headquarters.

In this role you will lead how we connect people with opportunies. You will become intimate with the business, truly unnderstanding their day to day challenges, understand our talents and their personal development needs, and start to move them at scale for the benefit of our people and the business. You will work closely with all other Heads of other HR including Join (Talent Acquisition, Strategic Workforce Planning), Technology and Analytics, Contribute (Reward and Recoignition & Compensation and Benefits), and the Regional HR Leaders. As we develop a strong Talent Function, you would have the opportunity to influence the Talent technology, process, KPIs and talent deliverables at a global level.

**What you will be doing**:

- Serve as a thought leader on everything related to talent management
- Design, develop, and manage global talent roadmap necessary to exceed business goals and creating sustainable talent depth and breadth
- Define, gather, analyze, and maintain data to identify, develop, and retain current and next generation leaders across Straumann Group
- Participate in organizational strategic planning and provide leadership related to talent management relevant key themes, such as Technology, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Mobility, Culture and D&I
- Ensure the development, integration, and alignment of inclusive approaches to all talent management programs
- Research and input in the development of leadership and capability training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvement with priority organizational challenges
- Build effective relationships within the organization and talent acquisition community to have influence and impact on future capabilities to be recruited
- Take ownership that organization-wide talent management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness
- Established talent related processes (e.g. internal talent scouting) or practices to encourage and reinforce innovation and change thinking
- Act as a Transformation and Change Agent and take a leading role in our Culture Journey to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce

**Requirements needed**:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
- 10+ years of experience in strategic HR leadership, ideally in multinational business environment in different industries
- Excellent collaboration skills across multiple levels and functions with demonstrated success in influencing, aligning, and bringing interconnection to diverse perspectives
- Widespread knowledge of leadership development, capability building and succession planning with demonstrated success in building talent pools and leadership pipelines
- Comfortable to adapt and flourish in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving and changing environment
- Teamplayer with high level of integrity, commitment, and curiosity
- Strategic thinking ability paired with a can-do execution-oriented mentality
- Strong presentation and coaching skills and ability to influence senior leadership
- Fluent in English, any additional language is an advantage
