**Job Purpose**:
The Head of Global Operations Transformation leads her/his organization to support the Operations Lead team in implementing our prOPulSe transformation along its 8 pillars: #1 reducing COGS, #2. establishing a customer obsessed E2E SC, #3 increasing our competitive advantage through Quality and Regulatory affairs, #4 building capacity to support the growth, #5 delivering on the group’s ESG commitments, by #6 engaging and growing people, #7 leveraging our digital transformation and #8 building on Straumann’s Culture to create a Lean culture of excellence in Operations.

The prOPulSe transformation is sponsored by the entire Operations Lead Team, and the Global Operations Transformation team (including the team of 3 to 4 experts reporting into the Head position) should support by managing it as a program along the 8 pillars, whilst taking ownership on key transversal topics: COGS reduction, Network strategy and capacity building, establishment of a group global Lean approach and supporting the digitalization of manufacturing.

This role should be understood as an opportunity to contribute to transforming a global operations organization, whilst getting ready to take an operational role within the network in the future (e.g., leading a manufacturing site)

**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Lead the PMO for the prOPulSe transformation, supporting the Operations Lead team as well as all the leaders involved into this program across the organization, by taking ownership of the governance of prOPulSe
- Role model Straumann’s Culture across the entire program
- Take the coordination lead for the pillar #1 on COGS reduction and the pillar #4 on building the network to support the growth of the group across all business units (Dental Implants Systems, Customized prosthetics, Orthodontics aligners), as well as for the pillar #8 on Lean and Culture
- Lead a team of experts to support the topics that are transversal to all business units (Lean, Network and capacity, Digital and Analytics for manufacturing)
- Support the development and the activities of the communities of practice that are linked to the transformation
- Closely collaborate with our Data and Tech business partner to drive the Digital Transformation as well as the Digital Mindset initiatives within Operations
- Support the COO and the Operations Lead team when specific new projects start; when task forces are needed; and when reviews of our vision and strategy take place
- Work in close collaboration with the extended Operations Lead team (Manufacturing, E2E SC, QARA, EHS&S, People, Finance, Data and Tech, as well as Procurement), as well as with all the relevant partners across the organization (implant Business Unit, Ortho and Connected Customer Solutions Business Units, Consumer Business Unit, Regional organizations, Data and Tech, Finance, People)
- Develop and grow talents within the Operations Transformation team and beyond

**Requirements needed**:
**Education and experience**:

- Minimum 10 years relevant professional experience
- Minimum master’s degree or equivalent in a engineering and or managerial field
- Previous experience managing a manufacturing site
- Previous experience in technical functions within a network (e.g., SC, Engineering)
- Practical expertise in Lean concepts including visual management, structured problem solving, value stream mapping, kaizen, heijunka, standard work, PPAP, TPM, OEE
- Experience in change management
- Superior communication skills, writing, verbal, and presentation. Ability to adapt communication from shopfloor level up to senior executives
- Languages: English fluency required. French and German additionally preferred
