Julius Baer Division Markets is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Business
- & Data Architect to join our team. As a Business Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business strategy definition and in establishing the framework to efficiently manage and optimize the business processes within the division. You will also be instrumental in designing and implementing the divisional data strategy in line with bank-wide standards.

This senior architect role enables you to closely collaborate with business owners, product managers and IT stakeholders to unlock the Markets potential and elaborate and present innovative and efficient solutions up to C-Level. The role calls for a foundation of strong business acumen and knowledge of the Markets Trading environment, experience with OTC or Structured Products issuing supported by deep E2E business process expertise.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Collaborate closely with Markets leadership and key stakeholders to support definition of Markets business strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture vision and objectives
- Represent Markets in bank-wide enterprise architecture discussions
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Markets business processes, systems, and capabilities, and identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Further develop and maintain a Markets systems and capabilities register
- Drive business process improvements by analyzing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience
- Take ownership to design and elaborate a data-driven strategy supporting implementation of the Markets data analytics initiative with the aim to provide actionable insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making
- Further develop and maintain the Markets Business data object model, actively live the Divisional CDO role and support enterprise Data Governance
- Collaborate with Markets OVS and other stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation and integration of technology solutions to support business objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business architecture and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the organization

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Business Architect or in a similar strategic role
- Multiyear experience in Finance industry especially in Markets Trading area
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of business strategy development and execution
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing effective solutions
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Sound understanding of various regulatory frameworks as well as security and risk constrains for data-driven strategy definition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools is a plus
- Certification in business architecture (e.g., TOGAF, BIZBOK) is highly desirable
- Experience to work in Agile environment is a plus
- Business fluent in written and spoken English, spoken German is beneficial
