In this role you will be responsible for identification, exploration and implementation of development and growth strategies within the Global Business Line Destination to enhance and secure ABB eMobility global position and profitability in the medium/long term, in Destination charging. Reporting to the Global Business Line Leader, you will ensure end to end development projects execution. You will be managing cross-disciplinary global teams and fully responsible for their performance.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Technical leadership. Coordinates Business Line developments and reports to Business Line leader. Ensures the alignment of strategies, processes and corresponding Development plans and follows up progress. Facilitates technology issues within Division/Business Unit and cross Divisions. Is involved at an operational level in important and critical technology issues and/or projects within Division/Business Unit ensuring adherence to gate model process.
- Technology direction. Responsible for creation and execution of Business Line Development strategy in agreement with Business Line Management. Creates, plans and follows up Business Line Development road map.
- Innovation and creativity. Develops, secures and facilitates innovation process, and ensures key performance indicators (KPIs) are in place to be tracked.
- Projects, processes and tools. Ensures Business Line Development projects are delivered on time and on budget. Ensures that actions and decisions taken are approved in accordance with prevailing policies and instructions. Drives, influences and facilitates cooperation around market standards and guidelines important to the Business Line.
- R&D context. Aligns Development with Product Management function to define market oriented Development projects. Ensure proper alignment of Development Roadmaps with the Platform Roadmaps.
- Knowledge transfer. Supports and oversees transfer of technology and knowledge between the business and internal partners (Local and Global Business Units and laboratories).
- Network and visibility. Represents the Development function to customers and internal/external stakeholders. Ensures representation to relevant universities and institutions.
- Intellectual property (IP) and risk management. Ensures Division IP strategies are created, targets set and followed up.
- Finance and budget. Responsible for Development budget and targets, set in accordance with parameters decided by Business Line and Technology Office.
- People leadership and development. Ensures that people processes are in place to enable the appropriate organization, competence and skills to exist or be developed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect employees with the support of HR processes.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor/Masters degree in a technical domain, mixed with a MBA would be preferred
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in product development, R&D or product sales position
- Able to deal with complex decision-making units within large global customer organisations
- Experience with customers including sales, problem resolution, negotiation skills, and relationship building
- Leadership experience and people development in a global setup
- Ideally worked with budget and resource planning already
- Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong written and verbal communication
