In this role, you will be responsible for Lead Global Service sales for the Instrumentation business with particular attention to our installed base coverage and new sales initiatives to achieve double-digit+ annual Order growth. You will ensure successful implementation of the Global Service Sales Strategy for Business Line Instrumentation. Analyze service market potential with full focus on installed base (IB) penetration, grow digital sales portion, and ensure customer relationship management.
**This position reports to**:
Sales Manager Instrumentation
**Your responsibilities**:
- Create, plan, and implements a global service sales strategy in collaboration with regions and key countries.
- Achieves service sales KPIs (Orders, GM%, Service initiatives, Installed base coverage &, etc.)
- Capture growth for digital and other value-added service product offerings supporting Life Cycle Management (LCM).
- Capture growth for basic service offering (spare parts) with a proactive approach
- Drive the data quality and coverage on the Installed Base database
- In collaboration with the Service sales team generate and identify service sales leads by analyzing the IB potential and targeting those new IB opportunities from emerging trends with the Service solutions available. Determines account and acquisition plans to support growth.
- Establishes long-term customer relationships with key customers and decision-makers by understanding the requirements, regulations and exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and products. Ensures customer satisfaction issues are registered and responded to by the team.
- Supports the team by participating in sales activities when needed. Responsible for feedback on sales development, distribution of resources for service sales activities, and the current status of the market. Collaborates with Business Lines and account teams to position different service offerings. Evaluates and share relevant information on installed base data, sales leads, customers and competitors solutions, and marketing trends with the team.
- Health, safety, and integrity: Monitors client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels. Drives health, safety, and integrity practices with the service community.
- Drives sales efficiency by ensuring adequate selling skills for service sales community members and that the area of responsibility is properly organized, and staffed. Coaches the team in formulating sales plans, negotiating, and in developing customer segment expertise.
**Your background**:
- 10+ years of Sales Service sales leadership/Sales leadership experience. Good understanding of the Instrumentation business and customer needs in the different market segments. P/L Experience as an advance
- B.SC or higher in Engineering (MBA considered as an advance)
- Global mindset, experience, intercultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills as well as proven personal leadership in leading teams (including virtual teams), shaping collaborative diverse, and inclusive organizational culture with high strategic and result orientation
- Strong inclusive leadership profile and skills set.
- Leader of innovation initiatives with specific attention to new digital services, cybersecurity, and other advanced services
- Digital sales competence (training programs, customers sales experience, staffing & etc.)
- Support a close dialogue with customers and our colleagues in the regions/countries with participation in customer-oriented events
- Great desire to advise others and provide good service
- Willingness to learn and develop as part of a team with colleagues across the whole Business Line Instrumentation community
- People Management Skills - ability to develop people to the best of their ability.
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel 30%
