Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions is the product center for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Digitalization, Digital Communication, Asset and Process Management, and other innovative digital solutions within the Endress+Hauser Group. Our digital solutions for process automation are key enablers that complement and enhance our renowned process measuring instruments, delivering tangible value to our customers.

As Head of Business Development, you will take a leading role within Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions, working closely with a decentralized global sales network and cross-functional teams to drive growth and innovation. Based in Reinach, Switzerland, you will lead a passionate and collaborative department while acting as a strategic partner across the organization.
**Which tasks will you perform?**
You will:
- Lead customer-centric, industry-specific sales enablement initiatives to support decentralized sales organizations and channel partners in managing leads and closing deals
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies based on market potential and customer segments in close collaboration with a decentralized global sales organization
- Identify new business opportunities and customer segments by working closely with the Head of Product Management to optimize the impact of our product portfolio
- Design and implement modern, flexible, and scalable business models for digital offerings, including pricing, channel, and certification strategies
- Lead and inspire the Business Development, Project and Training Department, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers in decentralized sales organizations to ensure alignment and trust across regions
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements and performance monitoring via KPIsActively contribute to industry workstreams within the Endress+Hauser community, focusing on emerging market trends in digital products and services
**What do we expect from you?**
You:
- Hold a university degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or digital technologies, with a strong understanding of B2B markets and process automation
- Are an innovative, hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on delivering results
- Have experience with sales and business development for digital B2B businesses and a deep understanding of their dynamics
- Have a proven track record of leading and coaching high-performing business development teams
- Bring sales and marketing experience in process automation technologies and system solutions
- Have strong networking and relationship-building skills, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels
- Can confidently navigate complex structures and build relationships in a global, multicultural, matrix organizationAdapt quickly to change and demonstrate resilience in challenging environments
