**Your responsibilities**:
- Gallery Relations Development_
- Managing the gallery acquisition process for the Marketplace, including e.g the planning and coordination of acquisition events and materials in coordination with other teams of Art Basel
- Establish and maintain exclusive relationships with galleries
- Leading the gallery acquisition process for the Marketplace, including e.g. the planning and coordination of acquisition events and materials in coordination with other teams of Art Basel
- Digital Product Development_
- Customer-centric development of solutions for specific needs of the client, together with internal departments and service providers
- Gathering of customer feedback for continuous improvement of the product as well as internal processes
- Operations Management_
- Managing gallery accounts and overseeing the operational setup of galleries with logistics and payment provider
- Supporting the gallery onboarding process for the MarketPlace
- Supporting the gallery customer service during and after the sales process
**Your profile**:
- Consultative salesperson with a strong focus on customer needs
- Professional experience within the art industry, preferable within a digital platform and/or gallery context
- Experience account management is a plus, as well as a proven success record of client acquisition and retention
- Comfortable managing communication and outreach on a global scale
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent project management skills and a high aspiration for quality
- Excellent language skills in English. Additional languages desirable (i.e. German, French, Spanish, Asian languages)
