For our longstanding and well-known client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG, we are looking for a long-term assignment for the Basel site as a

**Project Manager Pharma (M/F/d) 100%**:
**Background**:
This position is located in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PS) and is meant to support the five-year scientific outcome work product teams (WPTs). The five-year scientific outcomes are topics of critical importance for the success of the future PS. They provide clarity to PS-all on where to focus the efforts. All outcomes integrate and connect the PS reality to strategic efforts in pRED and ultimately serve to deliver on the 2030 Pharma ambition. The initial scoping phase of this effort has been completed. In the next phase, the newly formed WPTs will deliver on the bold outcomes based on the pre-aligned roadmap.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Drive forward the pRED Pharmaceutical Sciences 5 year scientific outcomes together with the Product Owners of the different workstreams
- Coordinate the efforts from different workstreams with work product teams underneath:

- Develop and manage a project schedule and work plan together with the work product teams
- Support Product Owners in communication & preparing presentations with key internal and external (e.g. regulatory authorities) stakeholders
- Monitor and document project progress and provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders (e.g. 5 year outcome workstream leads, senior management)
- Facilitate meetings & workshops (virtual and face to face) for the teams
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Build and maintain internal online presence of the project
- Team coaching, support the Product Owners in shaping the team’s ways of working
- Process improvement (process mapping/visualization tools)
- Co-organize and analyse results of regular PS surveys for the workstreams
- Measure and evaluate the impact of the workstream activities
- Lead interactions with the Roche external contract management team

**Must Haves**:

- University degree in Science or Business, ideally someone that has project management expertise with a science background
- Knowledge/experience in Life Science and a understanding of drug development
- Minimum 2 years experience in leading global/complex projects, organizing and optimizing resources and establishing clear priorities, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry
- Able to thrive in an environment in constant change, maintaining objectivity and respect for differences of opinion
- Expertise in agile working methodologies, scrum master certification (i.e. Scrum.org, level I)
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking with the ability to translate strategy into action
- Excellent communication skills in English, with demonstrated proficiency in influencing, negotiating, and effective global collaboration. Ability to effectively communicate across various levels of a complex, matrix organization
- Self-driven, adaptable and resilient, with a growth mindset
- Create fit for purpose solutions and get things done with a “can-do” attitude
