**ACCOUNT MANAGER (EXTERNAL) PHARMA**:
Our team in **Basel** currently has an opening for a **Account Manager (external) Pharma**

Our Brenntag Pharma EMEA division builds the link between raw material suppliers and medical product producers and manages the distribution of APIs, excipients, intermediates, as well as base chemicals with value-added services. We serve the market with our entrepreneurial mindset & vision at the highest quality standard. We actively listen to our partners needs and add value with our customized solutions, acting as a one-stop-shop for the pharmaceutical industry.

**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage, develop and maintain high potential customer relations to maximize sales/profit. Identify opportunities and monetize business potentials.
- Develop business for high potential accounts, incl. basket/ product selling, cross-selling and value-based pricing.
- Execute customer visits, prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, respond to RFQs.
- Identify customer potential and plan to monetize.
- Identify, prioritize and convert prospect business.
- Manage customer related initiatives/ projects.
- Maintain CRM, complete relevant reporting, etc.
- Participation in training courses.
- Knowledge of the requirements from GMP/GDP.
- Obligation to comply with the respectively applicable process and work instructions as well as the legal requirements with regard to GMP/GDP.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Completed commercial apprenticeship or chemical study background with commercial specialization.
- Experience in the position Account Manager external
- More years of professional experience in pharmacy or distribution.
- Knowledge of chemical and pharmaceutical products.
- Commercial negotiating skills
- IT skills (MS Office and ideally SAP, CRM, BW).
- Willingness to travel
- English and German language skills (Benefit: additional French or Italian language skills).
- Customer-oriented and structured way of working, communication, and contact skills.
- Independent working style. GDP/ GMP knowledge
