The role will be based near Schaffhausen in Switzerland.ResponsibilitiesDirect overall construction activities for pharmaceutical laboratory and office retrofit project, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget parametersLead multidisciplinary construction teams including mechanical, electrical, CSA package leads, and coordinate with safety, contracts, and commissioning personnelEnsure all construction activities comply with pharmaceutical industry standards, cGMP requirements, and applicable building codes for laboratory environmentsDevelop and maintain detailed construction schedules, coordinate sequencing of retrofit activities to minimize disruption to ongoing operationsImplement quality control procedures specific to pharma construction, oversee inspections, and ensure work meets design specifications and industry standardsInterface with client representatives, designers, regulatory inspectors, and facility ops teams throughout project executionIdentify construction risks and develop mitigation strategiesProvide regular project updates to senior management and clients, including schedule status, budget performance, and issue resolutionQualificationsMinimum 10-12 years construction management experience with 5+ years in pharma, biotech, or regulated industry projectsUnderstanding of pharma facility requirements, clean room construction, and laboratory infrastructure systemsDemonstrated experience managing large projects with multiple trades and complex scheduling requirementsKnowledge of cGMP construction practices, inspection processes, and pharma facility design standardsStrong leadership and team management skills with ability to coordinate diverse stakeholder groupsExcellent problem-solving capabilities for complex construction challenges in regulated environmentsEffective communication skills for client interaction and regulatory interfaceProven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in challenging operational settingsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fieldFor all roles, ideal candidates must have :Relevant work experience in Pharma or EPC / EPCM ProjectsRight to work in EuropeFluent German and English Language SkillsWhy PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
