Safety Manager

Overview PM Group are looking for a Safety Manager to work on a pharma labs and offices retrofit project. The role will be based near Schaffhausen in Switzerland. Responsibilities Establish and implement comprehensive safety programs for pharma laboratory and office retrofit construction activities Ensure adherence to safety standards, pharma industry safety requirements, and client-specific safety protocols Conduct detailed safety assessments including contamination control and chemical exposure risks Investigate safety incidents, near-misses, and regulatory violations; implement corrective actions and preventive measures Perform regular safety inspections, document findings, and ensure compliance with safety plans and regulatory requirements Maintain comprehensive safety records, incident reports, training documentation, and regulatory compliance files Qualifications Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Safety, Construction, Engineering, or related field Minimum 8-10 years safety management experience with 3+ years in pharma, chemical, or regulated industry construction Thorough understanding of relevant standards, pharmaceutical safety protocols, and construction safety in operational facilities Proven experience developing and implementing safety programs for complex construction projects Candidates must have Right to work in Europe English language skills; German is highly desirable Why PM Group?
