Overview
PM Group are looking for a
Safety Manager
to work on a Pharma Labs and Offices retro fit project. The role will be based near Schaffhausen in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement comprehensive safety programs for pharma laboratory and office retrofit construction activities
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, pharma industry safety requirements, and client-specific safety protocols
  • Conduct detailed safety assessments including contamination control and chemical exposure risks
  • Investigate safety incidents, near-misses, and regulatory violations; implement corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Perform regular safety inspections, document findings, and ensure compliance with safety plans and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain comprehensive safety records, incident reports, training documentation, and regulatory compliance files

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Safety, Construction, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years safety management experience with 3+ years in pharma, chemical, or regulated industry construction
  • Thorough understanding of relevant standards, pharmaceutical safety protocols, and construction safety in operational facilities
  • Proven experience developing and implementing safety programs for complex construction projects

Candidates must have :

  • Right to work in Europe
  • English Language Skills - German highly desireable
