A leading global institution is strengthening their Zurich based DACH Coverage M&A
team and seeking to hire a VP and offers a clear path to Director and
beyond. This group originates and executes M&A, Capital Markets and Financing
transactions and boasts a track record of high success, excellent relationships and a superb deal pipeline. They are sector agnostic but, in particular, has strong traction in TMT, Industrials, Healthcare and Consumer & Retail.

Transactions are predominantly M&A but they also have a very successful
Leveraged Finance group and advise on a good proportion of financings as
well. The team is execution led - execution comprises 60-80% of the workflow.

Aufgaben

**Your duties will centre on the following**:

- Contribute to the origination of transactions - involving lead preparation of

marketing pitches in full co-ordination with the relevant colleagues
- Leadthe execution of transactions, (buy side or sell side, equity advisory,

**financing) as ‘deal captain’**: process design, supervision of modelling
and valuation analysis, review and guidance on transaction support
documents (information memoranda and management presentations),
interactions with other legal, financial and technical advisors, regular
contact with clients; coordination with the relevant product teams and
sector teams in London;
- Participate in the day-to-day life of the department as well as in the recruitment and mentoring of juniors.
- Providing support to senior professionals, developing and maintaining client

relationships, and assisting with the generation of new business
opportunities

Qualifikation

**Key Requirements**:

- 6+ years of experience in Investment Banking/M&A in Real Estate, Health Care und IT/AI is ideal
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for the Sustainability industry
- Appropriate education (Master Degree or PhD)
- Professional proficiency in English and another European language will be a bonus
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills, communication, backed with an entrepreneurial mentality

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria:

- Proven Investment Banking experience gained at a top-tier investment bank or boutique
- Be a fluent German speaker
- Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills
- Detailed knowledge of valuation techniques, due diligence, documentation, and in executing debt, equity and M&A transactions
