**Summary**:
The Director of Market Access will be responsible for expanding access of Dexcom products in DACH for consumers who can benefit from CGM while assisting Dexcom DACH to achieve its revenue targets. Drives projects to optimize existing prices, reimbursement and market access for Dexcom products, software and services in accordance with defined priorities. Works closely with the EMEA-HECOR team to access and adapt value arguments and ensures alignment with the EMEA and Global strategy. This individual will also be responsible for preparing HTA (Health Technology Assessment) submission files and analyzing health economic data as it relates to DACH, for Dexcom products, services and industry trends. This individual will work closely with the DACH Commercial Leadership Team and is a key member of this group. This position reports directly to the VP DACH.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead a Market Access function with the following core units: Payer Contracting Team, Value & Payer Evidence Generation Team, Operations Team and Stakeholder & Policy Engagement Team
- Work closely with public and private payers to expand access and optimize pricing for Dexcom products.
- Develop close relationships with health insurance decision makers and key policy institutions and individuals to drive broad CGM adoption in DACH region.
- Work closely with the commercial DACH-organization to develop payor push and pull through that will drive CGM adoption.
- Manage the regional customization of the core value dossiers for Dexcom products.
- Work closely with Global Access department to incorporate appropriate clinical trials, data base registries, and other sources of evidence that can be used to develop cost effective approaches and value demonstration to product positioning.
- Customize budget impact analysis tools for regional/local use in DACH for both government and private payors.
- Assimilate investigator-initiated trials into health technology assessments and product positioning
- Prepare and update Market Access presentations for use by Dexcom partners and internal organization.
- This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 8 - 12 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Broad Experience in successfully leading multidisciplinary teams with different experience background.
- Disease state (diabetes) and related health economic modelling experience is desired. Diabetes and/or medical device market access experience is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of DACH health systems and ability to map the DACH market data by country, region and relevant Health insurance funds.
- Experience to work with DACH HTA bodies and prepare submissions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in German and in English,
- Ability to read and interpret clinical and economic documents. Ability to write and prepare comprehensive reports, presentations and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- A high bias for action is considered crucial for this position.

**Education Requirements**:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s (M. A.; MS) in relevant field (health economics, health policy, public health, business) is preferred.

**Travel Required**:

- Up to 50%

**Language Skills**:Must be able to communicate effectively in German and in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
