The role of is to act as the Therapy Area (TA) and related brands owner on a global scale. You will be responsible for the specified products success and coordination of key global strategic capabilities (such as launch excellence, patient access and branding) with the regions and countries who bring it to the markets. The VP Global Head Specialty Care will also share P&L responsibility with the regions. - Please note this is a remote position but will require travel between the Basel and Stockholm offices **Key Responsibilities** - You will lead the cross functional Team working in the Therapy Area and related brands in close partnership with the assigned R&D and Technical Operations Leaders. - You will develop and lead the execution of an Integrated Life Cycle Strategic Development & Launch Plan in line with the overall corporate portfolio strategy priorities - through close collaboration with all appropriate functions & leaders, creating as part of this initiative a one-truth data source. - You will be in charge of the strategic alliance management when applicable. - You are accountable for overall global product success, sharing P&L responsibility with the Regions. - You will work with support functions such as Analytics & Insights and Commercialization Excellence to drive marketing performance, ensure successful launch strategies, and coordinate pre-launch. - You will work with regional Products Operations to ensure strategic alignment, understand market insights, provide tactical support, and execute pre-launch. **Qualifications** - University degree level education - medical/science-based degree is a plus. - Life cycle management. - Minimum 15 years’ professional industry experience is required. - Experience with orphan drugs or specialty pharmaceuticals would be a distinct advantage. - Fluency in English, both oral and written communications; all other languages considered a distinct advantage. - Excellent communicator. - Excellent analytical skills, judgment, and problem-solving skills. - International and matrixed organization experience. - Demonstrated ability to deliver successful outcomes in a cross-regional as well as cross-functional situation. - Demonstrated “people ability” and the ability to deliver results working with and via teams, both internally and externally. - Long-term vision and strong leadership skills. - Ability to navigate and manage in a VUCA World i.e. "Volatile," "Uncertain," "Complex," and "Ambiguous." - Change management skills and experience with the ability to navigate and manage in a fast-changing environment. - An open, collaborative approach is essential due to the cross-functional nature of the role with the ability to engage all Sobi colleagues. - Personal accountability to take responsibility for one’s own work, make sound judgments and maintain a high level personal and professional standard. - Creative, “out-of-the-box” thinker with experience managing multiple brands.
