As the
** Director of Data Science,** you will provide technology leadership and partner with cross-functional teams to develop and guide our battery storage and renewable solutions for our APM platform.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Lead, manage and mentor a team of Data Scientists working on Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models to analyze renewable assets performance
- Provide technical leadership for APM analytics solutions
- Work with Software Engineering and Product Management teams to design, deploy and monitor data analysis tools
- Instill a culture of R&D in the Data Science team with the goal of constant improvement in algorithm performance
- Expand team through hiring as needed
- Model and cultivate a culture of inclusivity, trust, exceptional communication, collaboration, respect, continuous learning, and enthusiasm for our work
- 3+ years of experience working on battery storage technologies.
- 3+ years of experience building and leading engineering and/or Data Science teams
- MSc in STEM, PhD a plus
- Hands on experience with AI-models a plus
- Knowledge of the Energy industry a plus
- Experience working with relational or timeseries databases and cloud technologies a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build solid working relationships — from individual contributors to executives
- Experience working and delivering products or services in an agile/lean environment
- Excellent communication skills
