Head, Product and Techology Transfer

We are looking for a Head, Product and Technology Transfer for one of our medtech clients based in Western Switzerland. If you are ready to take on a new challenge, this offer is for you.
You will be responsible for transferring new products from R&D into Operations and Manufacturing for scale-up. You will also accountable for ensuring that new products are designed for manufacturing, quality and cost. And you will define Operations strategy for optimizing how the company rapidly transfers and scales all new products - efficiently and effectively. The role reports directly to the Head of Operations.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Provide direction, set goals, manage resources, and optimize productivity and costs.
- Design processes, scale-up, and technology transfer; define critical process parameters and implement quality control measures.
- Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Assess and improve processes, develop external collaborations, and manage the pilot manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate pre-launch activities and optimize tech transfer processes.
- Manage communication with top management and direct reports, and support documentation and compliance activities.
**Your Profile**:
- MSc in Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent; PhD or higher degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in a relevant field, with experience in regulated industries, team leadership, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of IT tools, problem-solving skills, and experience with GMP, GLP, FDA regulations.
- Ability to handle pressure, clear communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English, French is an asset.
