Head of Digital Communications

In this massively impactful role as Head of Digital Communications for DFINITY, you'll spearhead the development and execution of innovative digital communication strategies to promote the Internet Computer and engage diverse audiences. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role involves overseeing content production, managing analytics, and fostering effective stakeholder communication both internally and externally.

**Responsibilities**:
Strategy and Innovation:

- Develop a cutting-edge digital communication strategy to promote the Internet Computer.
- Innovate ways to communicate the Internet Computer's features.

Content Development and Management:

- Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging website content, including interactive digital experiences.

Analytics and Adaptation:

- Implement analytics tools compatible with monitoring and analyzing user engagement and content reach.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, such as R&D, Growth, Partnerships teams, and Executive Leadership
- Engage and liaise with external agencies to tailor digital branding and communication campaigns

**Required Skills and Experience**:
Technical Proficiency:

- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, especially third-generation blockchains like the Internet Computer
- Familiarity with the Internet Computer tech and ecosystem

Strategic Communication:

- Expertise in developing and executing digital communication strategies that effectively engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Web Design, Digital Marketing and SEO:

- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing.
- Knowledge of web design and analytics tools to measure, optimize, and report on campaign performance.

Leadership and Team Management:

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of communication and design professionals.
- Experience in building team cohesion and aligning departmental objectives with broader organizational goals.

Innovative Thinking and Problem Solving:

- Ability to innovate and use creative problem-solving skills to address communication challenges, and navigate ambiguity.
- Aptitude for adapting to new technologies and industry changes, particularly within the blockchain and digital communication sectors.

Experience in Blockchain:

- Several years of experience working in blockchain technology, preferably with direct exposure to the Internet Computer.

Digital Communication Roles:

- Extensive experience in digital communications or a related field, including roles that involved strategy development and execution across multiple digital channels.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Experience in engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including technical teams, business executives, external partners, and the wider community.

Education and Continuous Learning:

- Advanced degree in Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Continuous professional development, especially in areas like digital marketing, UX/UI design, and blockchain technologies.
- Please note that this role requires in-office work from our amazing office in Zurich 3 days per week
