**Your mission**: As the Head of Data, you will join a young team with one ambitious goal: To build the biggest learning platform in the world Along the way, you ensure that data is collected in a structured way, processed correctly, and visualised across all areas. Furthermore, you lay the architectural foundation to enable an individualised user/learning experience. Based on data, you identify and help to develop new product use cases together with the product & tech teams. **Responsibilities**: - Build the data department in a hyper-growth startup - Guide the future direction of data architecture strategy and processes, including intake, sources, database design and structure, data integrity and database tools - Establish the continuous integration of new data sources - Shape the architecture towards a Data Mesh and Lakehouse approach - Delight data consumers across evulpo by ensuring they have the data they need to make decisions, where and when they need it. - Design, build and validate statistical or machine learning models - Ensure data compliance **Requirements**: - MA in Computer Science, Engineering, or in a similar field - 3 - 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst - 2 - 3 years of experience in management role - Deep understanding of modern architectural and engineering practices - Experience in the mining of large data sets & machine learning - Knowledge of at least one programming language - Strong knowledge of SQL - Enthusiasm for and overall broad knowledge of a range of technologies **Nice-To-Haves**: - Experience in SaaS business user analytics **Offer**: - A great opportunity to be part of a fast-growing start-up - Flexible hours with a hybrid working model - A young, motivated team eager to change the world **Process**: - Upload your CV and letter of motivation **Always.
