As the Region General Manager, you will be responsible for successfully executing Avanade’s business strategy, providing vision, strategic leadership and operational guidance to the executives in your region. You will also partner with Accenture and Microsoft leadership to expand the alliance and identify and close significant business opportunities.

This role reports directly to the Area President and leads a cross-function regional leadership team that drives all aspects of the business.

Skills and experiences
- International Executive level experience in growing & leading a large, highly profitable technology services business
- Sales management experience (e.g. business development, managing client portfolios, complex channel management etc)
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of enterprise service solutions, especially Microsoft technologies
- Strong executive-level coaching and mentoring skills

About you
- University degree, advanced degree preferred
- You will likely have 10+ years of business experience.
- 15+ years of managerial experience
- International Executive level (e.g. General Manager, Division Director) experience in growing and leading a large scale, highly profitable technology services business, preferably within an international environment

What you'll do
- Increase awareness and positioning of Avanade brand and solutions in the market, especially the mid-market, with the aim of generating business opportunities
- Devise annual & quarterly plans/reviews of all strategic accounts, inc. management of P&L to meet revenue targets
- Evaluate operational results and provide forecasting & sales pipeline analysis to support region/area/global processes
- Manage team of cross-functional executives with responsibility for running and growing the business in the region
- Provide guidance to client portfolio teams in identifying high-priority client segments and sales strategies
