**Description of the assignment**
Are you interested to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment on a trading floor in our Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Division? Are you a motivated and proactive self-starter and problem-solver who is willing to go the extra mile? Are you client-focused and enjoy to interact with people on a daily basis?
We are looking for someone like you to join us as a Graduate Trainee within our Global Markets (GM) franchise in our Zurich Office. You will get the chance to deepen your knowledge not only with respect to the specific business line but to Investment Banking in general and gain experience and seniority to be able to participate to the commercial objectives of the relevant business line. Furthermore, as an integral part of the team you will be responsible for various tasks and contribute to the team’s objectives and success.

**Your Team**
You will work within the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB) and our Global Markets (GM) Division for our Global Macro Team and will be located on the trading floor in our Zurich Office. The team’s mandate covers a wide range of macro products and markets them to a variety of Corporate and Institutional clients including Large and Mid-size Corporates, Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Private Banks, Pension Funds and Family Offices based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You will get the chance to work with and alongside experienced professionals and learn about the Global Market Business Lines of a European player of reference.

**Main activities**
**During the program we offer you**:

- Wide variety of tasks and the possibility to take on responsibility in our Foreign Exchange (FX), Emerging Markets (EM), Precious Metals (PM) & Interest Rates (IR) Sales franchise
- The opportunity to improve your technical knowledge as well as your soft skills and to work with a wide community of international professionals (trading, structuring and research teams etc.)
- Daily interactions with Corporate and Institutional clients
- Relevant in-house training programs to stay updated on regulatory, product and technical knowledge

**Your main Tasks & duties consist but are not limited to**:

- Marketing a broad range of macro products such as Foreign Exchange & Precious Metals (Spot, Forwards, Swaps, Options), Interest Rates (IR Swaps, Options, XCCY) as well as Emerging Markets (IR Swaps, XCCY)
- Serve our client base, provide respective research and marketing material
- Contribute to a strong partnership within our Global Macro & Credit franchise in Switzerland, across EMEA and globally
- Contribute to cross selling & promote the firms brand
- Provide support in presentations, projects and administrative work to the team
- Attend relevant training courses to maintain appropriate regulatory, product and technical skills
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and conduct standards
- Recently graduated from University with a Master’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- Equivalent qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in mentioned fields with relevant work experience (minimum 1 year) and/or additional certifications (CFA, FRM, CIIA)
- Good understanding and a genuine interest for financial markets (derivatives, financial market instruments, etc.)
- Preferably with a first banking experience, ideally within IB division
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a dynamic personality
- Self-motivation combined with a strong team spirit and fast-learning attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic and international environment
