Portfolio and Value Management Lead

Join Takeda as a **Portfolio and Value Management Lead** in **Zurich/Vienna** and you will manage the Investment Portfolio Lifecycle for GMS/GQ Data, Digital & Technology (DD&T) function according to our strategic priorities (3-5 year planning). You will also guide the GMS/GQ DD&T Investment Portfolio Operating Model, covering the processes from demand intake, investment portfolio prioritization, investment approval, execution oversight and value capture. As part of the GMS/GQ IT, you will report to the Head of Strategy & Operations GMS/GQ IT and you will support Project Managers with operational processes, data quality, reporting and forecasting needs. **How you will contribute**: - Manage GMS/GQ DD&T Investment Portfolio Operating Model covering the processes from demand intake, investment portfolio prioritization, investment approval, execution oversight and value capture. - Accountable for the Project Office of GMS/GQ DD&T that supports Project Managers with operational processes, data quality, reporting and forecasting needs. - Manage opalization of GMS/GQ DD&T Scaled Agile Portfolio Management framework. - Guide the transformation of the current traditional project portfolio towards scaled Agile framework that puts value first and champions metered funding approach for the delivery teams. - Collaborate with Global Data & Technology governance group (GDT) to agree on the reporting needs, IT tools and working with shared services groups. - Oversee the oversight and execution of operational Project Management processes within GMS/GQ (funding requests, monthly reporting and forecasting, value capture. **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**: **Education / experience / skills**: - University degree of science/business: University degree is required, e.g. in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, IT or Physics with focus on either Control Theory/Statistics/Mechatronics, Information/Operation, Management/Strategy, Economics, Technology and Innovation Management. - Proven competences in stakeholder alignment, business need analysis, customer focus and result focus, delivery and people management. - Project Management certificate is desired. - Fluent in English. - Process Modelling, Programme and Project Management Skills (traditional and agile) Skills. - Financial Management Skills (especially related to value assessment methods). - Strategic enterprise thinking, finding creative ways to solving business challenges. - Excellent communication skills across multiple distributed stakeholders within IT and business. **What Takeda can offer you**: At Takeda, we are transforming the pharmaceutical industry through our R&D-driven market leadership and being a values-led company.
