Their main product provides an institutional-grade infrastructure and robust mission-critical gateway for trading and execution of crypto & digital assets. It enables banks, brokers, OTC desks, and market makers to connect to and seamlessly interact with the world’s most liquid and regulated digital asset and cryptocurrency trading and execution venues.

They are the first fully integrated algorithmic trading software solution for quantitative hedge funds, enabling the automation of complex, quantitative trading strategies in Equity, Forex, and Derivative markets.

Providing everything a typical quantitative trading firm needs on a daily basis to run its operations and the very first and most advanced algorithmic trading platform to allow automated trading of Bitcoin and a vast array of spot and derivative cryptocurrency markets.

The position

As the information nexus between corporate strategy, product development, sales, and marketing - you will own and drive the continued growth of our products and offerings. Derived from the company corporate strategy, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a successful product strategy that maximizes client value while ensuring that the company maintains its leadership position through a differentiating offering for our key target segments.

You will own the product roadmap by implementing a qualitative and quantitative heuristic that will support the management team in making well-founded decisions on their product strategy.

As a result, you will have a critical role in defining and delivering a product strategy that correctly anticipates and successfully capitalizes on future market needs, therefore substantially supporting their goal of increasing market share and revenue growth in the long term.

**Responsibilities**:
Own the product roadmap planning process, work with and bring together different teams in the organization such as marketing, sales, and development ensuring everyone’s alignment with the product strategy.
Analyze and validate current market trends and the functional and technical user needs of key persona in our defined market segments.
Assess and stay up-to-date with current competitor offerings, identifying gaps and differentiation opportunities in context of our key market segments.
Analyze the experiences of existing clients, establish processes to systematically gain feedback on what is missing and what can be improved.
Work with sales, pre-sales engineering and marketing to gain feedback on where the current offerings are successful and where they are not.
Define the product requirements across each offering and implement an appropriate product roadmap.
Optimize each offering in terms of value provided to clients as well as the commercial value created for them for each sold unit.
Build, present and gain sign-off for the business and revenue plan for each offering.
Work with strategy, marketing, and sales to ensure the correct go-to-market plan is defined and delivered along with the correct assets and documentation.
Prepare user stories and specifications to allow the development team to deliver in a timely manner.
Cooperate with the QA team to establish a QA test-plan for each product release.
Define and deliver training to the support, pre-sales and sales teams to ensure each offering can successfully be sold and supported.
Optimize resources needed for client onboarding, solution implementation and post-sale support.

Profile they are looking for

Mandatory

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable product strategy and/or product management position in a Fintech organization
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably across banks, hedge funds, prop trading shops, or an asset management firm
Experience in the trading domain and with crypto and digital assets

Other

Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
Experience with development tools such as GIT and JIRA
Experience in working with development teams in the Scrum methodology including planning, grooming and estimation
Experience in preparing/maintaining documentation and functional specifications for the development team
Entrepreneurial, proactive, curious and an innovative personality
Structured mindset and very results-oriented
Hands-on, “can-do” type of personality
Team player who is happy to work within a global, distributed team
Fluent in English
Fluent in German would be a bonus
