Our client, PLUMETTAZ SA, is a worldwide leader in the design, production and distribution of innovative blowing, floating and pushing/pulling equipment for underground cable laying in the telecommunication and energy industries. The company is at the innovation forefront in terms of electronic control and monitoring of its cable laying machines. This growing mid-sized company, with headquarters, R&D, engineering, and production in Bex, also has affiliates in the USA, the Netherlands, China, and Singapore. **Product Manager**:
In this key business position, you report directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Based on your solid technical background, you are the cable laying market expert knowing its players, business characteristics, trends, and dynamics. In line with the company strategy, you actively participate in positioning the current products and defining the product marketing. Furthermore, you propose, develop and implement product roadmaps to maintain the company’s leading position on a growing number of international markets. Your goal will be to maximise the business value of the products.

**Main responsibilities**
- Cover four work streams : product development, product marketing, product life cycle management and product training
- Own the quality of the products and drive improvements
- Act as a bridge between international affiliates, sales, and R&D to ensure that the products meet customer needs
- Understand the market and technology trends to ensure that the products remain competitive and well positioned
- Maintain awareness of product technology requirements within the company
- Be part of market analysis and consolidation to frame the new product definition and to ensure the profitability of the products
- Prepare product launches including technical requirement documents
- Manage technical and commercial data using advanced product lifecycle management guidance
- Participate with R&D teams in critical engineering design reviews as customer voice
- Define and follow the product cost to ensure the correct pricing
- Support the sales team by providing them with sales tools, product training, etc.

**Your profile**
- Degree in mechanical engineering or microengineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in international industrial machinery B2B environment
- Prior experience as Product Manager (or Applications Engineer), in the field of mechanical devices, machines, automation, or digital solutions as a product, in fields such as Telecom, Energy, Cable
- Strong organization skills and ability to work under pressure with excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, whereas being able to work independently
- Expected international travelling up to 30%
- Fluency in English and French, with very good knowledge of German, other languages as a plus
