**About the department**

Novo Nordisk Rare Disease is a specialty care unit focused on generating scientific and technological breakthroughs for people living with a rare disease. **The position**

As a Manager for Product Communications, you will be responsible for the delivery and creation of global external and internal communications content, across multiple channels and target audiences, to support the rare blood and rare endocrine product areas. This includes broad product-specific and consumer facing disease awareness programmes which enhance understanding and build trust with key stakeholders of RareD’s products. Working closely with brand and medical affairs teams, this role will deliver creative and impactful brand content, as well as provide issues management support to protect the reputation of RareD.

Your other responsibilities would include:

- Support the development, creation and implementation of global external and internal communication plans and narratives for RareD brands
- Deliver and create strategic communication content (including approval and dissemination) to ensure consistent and successful implementation of the brand communication strategy, facilitating adaptation and localisation in countries around the world
- Anticipate and prepare for product/TA issues to enable rapid and appropriate response.
- Work with other communication teams e.g. R&D Communications, Media Relations, Regions/ Affiliates to ensure alignment

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in communications and/or driving strategy/operations - preferably across disciplines (internal communications, media relations, issues management)
- Proven experience of delivering impactful external and internal communications activity
- Understanding of the global business environment and strategy, and how this can be translated to a local operating company
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, an ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines, and able to work calmly under pressure and pro-actively plan for and lead multiple business needs.
- Fluency in English
