**Description of the position**

The Investment Manager provides investment information and financial advice to the Management and Commercial Teams of the Company. The Investment Manager implements the agreed investment strategies on behalf of the Company’s corporate and individual clients, either in an advisory or discretionary management basis, working closely in close communication with those clients. He/she maintains knowledge of a wide range of investment and financial products, including funds, stocks, bonds, structured and derivative products, crypto assets and any other suitable financial products. The Investment Manager occupies an important role in the Investment Committee, contributing knowledge, financial markets’ analysis and opinions and best practices.

**Duties**

  • Engages in regular research and reading to stay informed about the state of the global economy, global financial markets, and general current events.
  • Maintains current knowledge about financial products available to corporate and individual clients, including bonds, stocks, funds, structured and derivative products.
  • Works closely with investment analysts to assess financial information and investment opportunities.
  • Presents investment opportunities and related analysis while pitching proposed course of action in meetings with clients.
  • Uses complex financial models to project future earning and profit potential and uses this data to inform decisions and proposals.
  • Makes decisions about financial and investment opportunities on behalf of clients.
  • Meets with the Company’s Investment Committee, including analysts and other managers, to discuss market developments and form Company decisions about investment outlook and strategies.
  • Develops relationships with clients and expands client network in professional and social settings
  • Specializes in a particular field or industry to aspire to achieve expert level knowledge.
  • The Investment Manager has a solid knowledge of Financial Markets Regulations and ensures compliance with industry regulations and best practices in investing and reporting.
  • The Investment Manager implements the agreed asset allocation, conducting all necessary pre trade checks, placing the orders, checking the execution. He/she is also the person in charge of running and maintaining the Portfolio Management System.
