We are currently looking for an independent and team-oriented personality for the position as

**Finance Manager 100% (M/F/d)**

Reporting to the Group CFO the incumbent will head the Finance & Accounting functions of the Swiss group (around 25 legal entities) with main responsibilities being the following:

- Personal technical leadership of around 10 staff members
- Providing timely and accurate monthly reporting, analysis of budgets variances, financial trends and forecasts for river, ocean and land products as well as overheads related to Swiss companies and vessel operating entities
- Manage and establish Group budgets and forecasts
- Cash Management and Cash Flow forecasting
- Ensure accurate Fixed Asset Management and Impairment Testing
- Compiling of year-end financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations & IFRS for the Swiss and any other entities as required
- Complete local and international VAT declarations, VAT evaluations and liaise with the relevant Authorities
- Complete Corporate Tax Returns and prepare Tax Rulings
- Overall responsibility for the Swiss group payroll, pensions, Social Security and any other payroll related matters
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
- Identify, investigate and analyse potential operational improvement
- Overall responsibility for insurance of the river and ocean fleet involving liaising with brokers and insurance entities and tendering
- Liaise with external auditors
- Perform all other duties as assigned and required

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Master degree in Accounting or Finance preferably a CPA or Diploma as Expert in Accounting and Controlling
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
- Have a flair for numbers, work well with people, meet deadlines with a positive work attitude
- 10+ year experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in an international environment
- Knowledge in the River / Ocean cruise industry is an asset
- Knowledge and experience in international VAT is an asset
- Experience with accounting systems and ERP
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office products in particular MS Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of written and spoken German and English (other languages are a plus)
