**Claims & Run-Off Manager**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manage complex non-life reinsurance claims most of all Nordics, Southern European Countries & partly UK; Motor
- & General Third Party Liability plus Property Reinsurance Losses
- Providing a broad and in-depth review/analysis of cedants’ claims advices and significant cash calls in accordance with the contractual conditions
- Recommend cover acceptance or refusal as per Claim Guidelines - liaison with Underwriting and Technical Accounting to ensure efficiency throughout complex claims-management processes
- Perform external claim reviews
- Provide Underwriters with Lessons Learned and Industry/Legal trends; suggest wording improvements and be competent sparring-partner also for other stakeholders
- Prepare, negotiate & finalize Commutations
- Being in charge of special projects

**Your profile**:

- Higher education, commercial apprenticeship required
- Solid claims & run-off practice
- Long & in-depth experience in managing mainly Motor
- & General Third Party Liability plus Property
- Readiness to travel
- Reporting/IT skills, e.g. SAP and Microsoft Office
- Loyal team-player, excellent communicator with social, diplomatic and negotiation skills
- Able to work independently, reliably and consistently
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Strong analytical, organizational and prioritisation qualities
- Technical Accounting and/or Claims Handling skills (also in Direct Insurance) desired
- Excellent command of English (German would be an asset)
