**About the role**

We are seeking an independent and highly motivated researcher to join as a Postdoc Fellow in our dynamic and diverse research team at Novartis.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity to engage in the development of translational cellular models and investigate the intricacies of the tumor microenvironment, encompassing the dynamics of both the primary and metastatic niches.

Preferred start date: as soon as possible (negotiable)
Duration: 36 to 48 months
Location: Novartis Campus, Basel, Switzerland
Key Responsibilities:

- Active participation in shaping the research project.
- Implementation of translational cellular models recapitulating organ niches.
- Execution of high-throughput cell culture, CRISPR screens, FACS and single cell RNA sequencing.
- Carry out in vivo studies.
- Collaborate with and participate in scientific discussions with Novartis researchers and academic partners.
- Present at lab meetings, internal seminars, and international conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, data, and results in compliance with regulatory

standards and institutional guidelines.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.

**Role Requirements**

Key Requirements:

- Extensive hands-on experience in differentiation of organoid models, hiPSC culture, cancer cell line and

primary cancer cell culture.
- Expertise in some of the following areas are beneficial: bioinformatics, gene-editing, molecular biology methods, prostate cancer biology, confocal imaging, flow cytomety, biosafety level 2 work, Felasa-B certification.
