The Relationship Manager Intermediaries is the primary point of contact between the Financial Intermediary (IM) client and the Bank. He/she acts externally as an ambassador for the Bank and is internally a role model. The Relationship Manager Intermediaries is responsible for the proactive and autonomous management of a client portfolio of Financial Intermediaries (or external Asset Managers). This entails the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions to meet the needs of the financial intermediary and their clients as well as dealing with routine enquiries and transactions.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Acquisition of new IM’s through own network and from the existing client base
- Delivery of client feedback regarding products and services to the relevant specialists within the Bank in order to ensure continuous improvement and adaptation in line with market trends
- Proactive development and maintenance of a portfolio of IM’s from German-speaking Switzerland.
- Responding to all client needs in a timely and professional manner
- Providing appropriate investment advice in line with the Bank’s policy and asset allocation
- Ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction by matching the frequency and intensity of contact to the clients preference
- Continuously deepening client relationships and optimising revenues through the acquisition of additional share of wallet / cross-selling
- Working in a team (including the appropriate use of specialists) to develop and deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to the clients
- Compliant with all standards, policies, guidelines and regulations (Julius Baer specific and financial industry)
- Embracing new processes and product initiatives
- Participation in ad hoc projects as required by the Team Head
- Training, development and management of junior team members

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Relevant higher educational and professional background e.g. FH, HWV, University or Bank apprenticeship combined with an AZEK or CFA qualification
- Proven track record in servicing a book of clients and in acquisition of new EAM’s
- Sound affinity with the geographic market(s) to be covered:

- Linguistic proficiency & cultural awareness
- Familiar with the legal & regulatory environment
- Strong financial product and technical competence in the understanding, development and delivery of solutions for intermediaries
- Ability to match client needs with appropriate product solutions
- Entrepreneurial and innovative approach in the identification of business opportunities
- Sound commercial judgement, represents the Bank’s and the shareholders’ interests at all times
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (ability to listen, guide and influence internal and external partners)
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in German is a key requirement, English and a further Swiss native language would be of advantage
