Market Risk & Product Control is focused on the trading and treasury activities of Julius Baer. Daily risk calculations and limit adherence checks for the units carrying market risk together with independent compilations of profit and loss figures allow for a transparent and safe business environment that ensures ‘checks and balances’. Reconciliations of positions, cash accounts and profit and loss statements ensure data integrity across systems; parameter checks and model validation ensure proper and consistent valuations.

Within the Market Risk & Product Control department, Risk Transformation group is focused on implementation CRO Strategic initiatives and is responsible for projects in the area of market risk and product control.

**YOUR CHALLENGE**:

- Project Management for the initiatives aimed at strengthening of market risk and product control functions in relation to governance, processes and infrastructure.
- Support delivery of the multi-year project to implement solution with centralized data repository for all risk management and control activities.
- Represent Market Risk and Product Control for externally driven projects, identify and manage their impact and/or dependency for the team.
- Manage budget and resources allocation for various initiatives as well as secure support from other units.
- Effective stakeholder management within and outside MRPC, especially with other units involved in the projects including Central IT, Markets IT and Finance.

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- Strong Banking experience with focus on control functions within Trading and/or Treasury.
- Experience in managing and delivering high profile, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Very good understanding of end-to-end operations, infrastructure, and frameworks in managing market risk and performing product controls.
- Knowledge of methods and current ways of working (JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and other common agile collaboration tools).
- Able to collaborate with highly qualified, technically minded staff.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, German is beneficial.
