**CONTEXT**

Are you passionate about **leading technical teams** and **driving innovation** in Cloud databases? Look no further Richemont is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a **Cloud Database Team Leader**. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity in an advanced Cloud and DevOps environment to showcase your expertise in SQL and NoSQL database technologies and your extensive experience managing large-scale AWS and Alibaba Cloud databases.

**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**

As the Cloud Database Tech/Team Leader, you will oversee the **design**, **implementation**, and **maintenance **of our cloud-based SQL and NoSQL databases running on AWS and Alibaba Cloud. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- **Technical Leadership**: Lead a team of database administrators and engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support.
- **Database Design and Architecture**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable, high-performance databases on cloud platforms.
- **Database Operations**: Ensure the smooth operation of databases, managing performance, availability, security, and data integrity.
- **Performance Optimization**: Analyze database performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency.
- **Data Security and Compliance**: Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Cloud Platform Management**: Manage and optimize AWS and Alibaba Cloud databases, leveraging their native services and features.
- **Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution**: Proactively identify and resolve database-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure mínimal downtime.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices. Prepare regular reports on system performance and improvements.

**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?**
- **Extensive Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases in a technical leadership capacity.
- **Cloud Database Expertise**: Strong hands-on experience with database technologies on AWS (e.g., Amazon RDS, MongoDB) and AlibabaCloud (e.g., ApsaraDB for RDS, Table Store) but also Document DB, MS-SQL cluster, and Oracle.
- **Automation mindset**: Strong experience in Infrastructure as code and automation leveraging Terraform and Ansible.
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven track record of successfully leading technical teams, providing guidance, and driving results. Notions of agile methodologies and product management worked with Product Owner.
- **Database Design and Architecture**: In-depth knowledge of database design principles and architectural patterns for large-scale, cloud-based systems.
- **Performance Optimization**: Experience optimizing database performance, identifying, and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing tuning strategies.
- **Data Security and Compliance**: Familiarity with data security best practices, encryption methods, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- **Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
- **Communication and Collaboration**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
