Supply Chain Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will take own Supply Chain Management (SCM) projects and implement strategic initiatives that shape sourcing and operational efficiency. You will support cross-functional efforts to optimize material cost, ensure project risk control, and promote innovation across the supply base. As a central coordinator in 2nd sourcing projects and KPI management, you will bring structure, data-driven insights, and collaborative leadership to our dynamic SCM environment. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid. This role is contributing to the division Motion System Drives in Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for: - Coordinating and executing key Supply Chain Management (SCM) projects, including competitive bidding initiatives, while ensuring proper project set-up, traceability of requirements, and alignment with SCM priorities. - Identifying and managing project risks related to schedule, cost, and scope in collaboration with the project and SCM teams; maintaining the risk register, analyzing risk impacts, and ensuring mitigation plans are followed. - Managing KPI tracking and material cost control efforts, including data preparation for related meetings, and coordinating SCM and Supply Chain Controlling (SCC) data management activities. - Coordinating and supporting 2nd sourcing projects across all categories by defining priorities and roadmaps, maintaining risk and source assessment lists, facilitating monthly SCM SteCo meetings, and enabling innovation through supplier benchmarking and design-for initiatives (DfM, DfT, DfS).

**Qualifications for the role**:

- You hold a higher education degree in supply chain or engineering.
- You possess practical experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM), including extensive knowledge in strategic sourcing and procurement practices.
- You have a solid understanding of production and industrial processes, enabling you to engage effectively with operational and technical teams.
- You bring experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
- You demonstrate proficient analytical and digital skills, with experience in Power BI, MS Excel, Power Automate, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; a good command of German is an additional asset.
