Maximize value to Consumer Health through the optimized regional transportation flows for In-bound Freight. The focus for this role will be the close collaboration and partnership with the Planning, Plants and In-Market Supply Chain Team as well as all Logistics Providers to strive for reliable day-to-day operations. **Key Responsibilities**: - Lead regional transportation function with a network of 10 internal, >50 external sites and 36 Distribution centers. - Provide guidance and strategic direction for >60MM$ Transportation spend - Manage Regional transportation organization via metrics and drives continuous improvement agenda to deliver our OTIF-D, margin enhancement, inventory and people engagement agenda - Ensure all regional transportation processes and programs are aligned with the corporate vision, strategy, standards and international legislations - Proactively surfaces and resolves key issues with a sense of urgency, demonstrates continuous improvement including transportation lanes, resource management and leveraged value - Establishes effective processes to support and drive E2E processes from Make to Distribution centers - Leads and develops an organization across Inbound Freight (IBF) - Execution activities, by empowering high performing team to engage in E2E collaboration and solutions with key stakeholders - Engage both with internal & external sources to drive continuous improvement for the organization including direct shipments from manufacturing sites to customers - Drive a culture of Safety & Compliance **Qualifications** Required Competencies**: - Min. 8 years’ experience in end-to-end supply chain related disciplines. - Deep expertise across core transportation, planning and carrier/3PL management processes - Capability in transportation capacity planning and management - Capability in core transportation planning systems - Skills to build an organization embracing a culture of functional excellence, continuous improvement and E2E orchestration **Preferred Competencies**: - Education and/or additional training: BA in Logistics/Supply Chain/Business required; Advanced degree like MA and MBA preferred. - Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across a broad portfolio of customers and channels - Demonstrated impact on roles requiring orchestration and influence; E2E mindset and collaborative, influence-based leadership approach - Presence and persistence to face off with and be a challenge partner to business leaders throughout regional Deliver - Track record of developing and building diverse, high-performance teams with a strong sense of mission - Ability to promote a vision and drive change to transform organizations, via strong engagement/communication - Collaboration - able to build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus - Highly skilled communicator with demonstrated ability to synthesize large quantities of information and present cogent recommendations - Results focus with proven track record of successfully developing and delivering on key strategic initiatives - Capable of achieving results in a matrixed and global environment. - Highly collaborative and influential.
