In Global Drug Development (GDD) in Basel, Switzerland, we are always on the look out for curious, motivated and professional associates like you to join our team Currently we are looking for a Planning and Reporting Manager
who will play an instrumental role in leading GDD actual reporting process, lead GDD FTE reporting/planning process, contribute to LO/LF/Budget planning process and drive productivity and resource allocation across GDD. In this role you will act as a key business partner for several GDD Units/ Functions and positively challenge the existing assumptions and the status quo. You will use your knowledge of understanding the business drivers by providing clear recommendations to Senior Management.

Major responsibilities:

- Lead GDD front to end actual reporting process, including presentation to GDD CFO and providing comments of variance drivers to IM/Group on monthly and quarterly basis
- Lead GDD FTE reporting and planning process, to drive internal resource allocation across functions
- Lead GDD PoP process to drive productivity agenda and value creation
- Act as a key business partner for several GDD Units/ Functions and positively challenges the existing assumptions and the status quo
- Contribute to LO/LF/Budget process, including financial presentations for senior management with business insights and recommendations for decision making
- Ensure quick turnaround of ad hoc analysis, providing timely and accurate information
- Provide business counsel on projects, resource allocation and investment decisions and assists in execution of initiatives where needed

**Minimum requirements**
- University degree in business and economics or similar
- English fluency required (both written and oral)
- At least 8 years of experience in Finance/Controlling
- Ability to handle complex data/systems
- Strong business acumen and maturity to challenge input
- Ability to collaborate with cross-divisional teams
