Staff Business Planning Coordinator

**What to Expect**

As a Staff Analyst, Business Planning Coordinator with Business Planning & Analytics EMEA team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our strategic decision-making and business planning processes. You will leverage advanced data analysis techniques to provide actionable insights, streamline forecasting, and drive process improvements across our organization. This role is ideal for a data-savvy professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for operational efficiency.

You will work with the field teams and headquarter functions to drive business objectives during a period of rapid growth. You will be instrumental in building the Business Planning & Analytics org into a competency center and partner with various teams across the business to develop Tesla’s planning capabilities.

This role requires frequent interaction with all our EMEA HQ and market leaders, and you will work closely with the EMEA Sales Ops, Supply Chain & Finance Teams to identify tactical performance improvement opportunities and improve margin and profitability.

**What You'll Do**
- Lead complex data analysis projects to support strategic decisions, utilizing advanced statistical techniques and software for in-depth evaluations. Develop new analytical models to provide senior leadership with actionable insights and present findings and recommendations to executive leadership
- Develop comprehensive business plans in collaboration with Business Planning (BP) and Business Analytics (BA) teams. Streamline forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency, ensuring alignment of business plans with organizational objectives and providing analytical support for strategic initiatives and projects
- Identify and implement operational efficiency improvements, monitoring business performance against strategic plans and objectives. Lead initiatives for process improvements using data-driven insights, coordinating activities across departments to execute improvement initiatives
- Respond to and manage complex business requests with expert analytical insights, networking with key contacts to gather information and perspectives for informed decision-making. Collaborate across departments to support critical business functions and enhance BP&A team support by providing innovative solutions and expert analysis

**What You'll Bring**
- Solid experience in a planning, analytics or operations role
- MSc’s degree in Engineering, Computer and/or Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business/Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Matlab)
- Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Proven track record in process improvement and operational efficiency. Good understanding of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) elements and process
- High level of data quality and integrity and proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics
