**What You’ll Do**
EMEA is a broad geographical region covering more than 20 countries and divided into Continental (developed) and (developing) regions. Levels of pace of maturing towards quality and differentiation, lifestyles, income and spending power differ significantly across the EMEA region. The region with a multitude of cultures, varying social-economic and political environments as well as regulatory systems is a highly complex region to operate in.
Dietary Supplements segment showed a very dynamic development over the past 2 years and is considered to be a key growth driver for the EMEA region moving forward.
As the Dietary Supplements Segment Lead you will own and implement the regional strategy for the segment and deliver sustainable business growth.
**Your key responsibilities**
- Build and own the regional Strategic Marketing Plan (SMP) for Dietary Supplements; articulate segment priorities and relentlessly drive the implementation of the strategy across EMEA.
- Accountable and responsible to grow Dietary Supplements CRM project funnel and deliver against targets or KPIs. Drive improvement of the funnel quality and assess impact of projects commercialization on financial performance and growth ambitions.
- Continuously assess regional macro and micro trends impacting the Segment market, being able to translate insights into solutions that will build unique Health Benefit platforms. Keep informed and share relevant industry news and reports on market, customers and competitors, understand competitor product offerings and business strategy and effectively relate this back to applicable HNH EMEA and Segment strategy updates
- Work with the Dietary Supplements global segment team and innovation team, internal stakeholders and external partners to develop insights-led new concepts, product forms and business models and translate these into compelling launch and sales packages (including claim support and regulatory scoping), in line with the segment strategy.
- Identify strategic customers for the segment and partner with the sales team in ensuring the strategic segment plans are developed and executed with the strategic customer plans.
- Develop new business models beyond the transactional and new channels (e.g. online) and drive these forward. Articulate clear and compelling value propositions for the above, as well as for individual ingredients within our traditional business.
- Develop segment marketing communication strategy and action plan jointly with the regional MarCom manager.
- Identify critical resource needs (human and financial) to implement the activities for the segment in the region with clarity on how resources will drive growth.
- Build regional Dietary Supplements Segment community and ensure that it receives necessary segment expertise. Lead segment knowledge transfer and training.
**Your experience**
- Bachelors/University degree in sciences, business or related field, Master degree a plus
- 10+ years’ experience in sales and marketing, including experience within the segment
- Experience in strategic marketing area with successful track record
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the dietary supplement industry: key players, brands and trends is a must
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrix organization
- Strong communication, presentation and customer facing skills
- Leadership experience
